In addition to the Czech premiere of György Ligeti's opera Le Grand Macabre, the Opera Nova festival will kick off with an exceptional performance by composer, pedagogue, and percussionist Lukas Ligeti and his guests - mezzo-soprano Bella Adamova and Austrian pianist Rupert Huber, who is also one of the pioneers of downtempo electronic music. The evening will feature a brand new semi-improvised composition that will offer a truly unique atmosphere and a diverse sound palette, created by the human voice, electronics, and percussion instruments.”
